Road Salt Letter to Assemblyperson Woerner

In the SLA’s continued efforts to protect the water quality of Saratoga Lake, President, Jim DeMasi sent a letter to the Chair of the NY State Assembly Committee on Transportation. The letter endorses the passage of further road salt reduction measures that can be taken by local municipalities following on from the findings and recommendations of the Adirondack Road Salt Reduction Taskforce. The legislation has already passed the State Senate and has been assigned to the Assembly Committee on Transportation. A copy of Jim’s letter was also sent to Assembly Member Carrie Woerner.
